Trans Bass Trial

It was a cold Sunday afternoon when our 2 ALP 6 Division 1 girls arrived at BTYC to compete in Session 1 of 2 Sessions for the Trans Bass Trial.

Both Jas and Lucy put 100% into every routine they performed despite any challenges they faced throughout the competition. It was a nervous start on Beam, with the girls feeling the weight of the competition on their shoulders, but the girls managed to pull through 2 solid Beam routines with no falls. They then continued to shine with great confidence and beautiful artistry on Floor. Vault came around and Lucy flew through the air with phenomenal power whilst Jas showed her strength, swinging her way through her Bar routine.

It was a great experience for the girls and Jas came away placing 2nd overall and Lucy 5th overall both girls got a 1st on an apparatus with Jas winning Floor and Lucy winning Vault.

It was a very close competition across the 2 sessions of the trial with both girls finishing in the top quarter of the competition, which is an amazing achievement. PIT are extremely proud of the girls performance and team spirit. Well done girls.

Massive congratulations to Jasmine who was selected as 1 of 6 gymnasts to represent Victoria at the Trans Bass Competition in Geelong later in the year.
