Our WAG Level 3 girls have worked so hard all year, the girls have gone from strength to strength to overcome injury, learn new skills and continuously beat their personal best scores throughout the competition season. Their coach Rachael is incredibly proud of how all the girls have persisted and improved throughout training and competitions this year; they have consistently worked as a team to lift each other up and encourage each other to be their best, and they have competed as champions, with confidence and courage.
10 & Under Team: Sienna, Janelle, Ella, Alessia and Kylah
At the North-Central Regional Championships the girls qualified 2nd Overall, a huge achievement! On Saturday 10th November, the girls competed their Level 3 routines for the final time. Their Beam and Floor routines were competed with control and poise, their Vaults were incredibly powerful and their Bar routines had beautiful casts and toe shoots. In a competition out of 14 teams, the girls did so well to place so well!
Results: 2nd Vault, 3rd Floor, 6th Beam, 7th Bars and 5th AA.
11 & Under Team: Eva, Talia, Mia, Caitlin and Zahli
At the North-Central Regional Championships the girls qualified 1st Overall, making them the Regional Champions! After a few more weeks of training and perfecting routines, on Sunday 11th November the girls competed at the Victorian Finals. Their Beam routines showed some major improvements, especially with their handstands and turns, their Floor and Bars routines were competed with great confidence and composure and their Vaults showed some great power. To place so well out of 16 teams proves that all their hard work has paid off!
Results: 4th Beam, 5th Floor, 5th Vault and 6th AA.
Well done girls! To have both teams compete so well is a testament to how hard all the girls have worked both individually and as a team. We couldn’t be prouder of these superstars!
