The basic skills developed in the competitive program will lead into the development of more advanced skills and focus on specific Apparatus Routines.
MAG Apparatus:
Floor, Vault, Rings, Pommel, Parallel Bars, High Bar
Competition:
Gymnasts compete in either Under-age (age as of 1st January of the current year) or Open divisions at competitions. Level 2 Under 7, Level 3 Under 8, Level 4 Under 9 etc. Gymnastics Victoria has also introduced maximum age limits this year.
- Level 2-6 gymnasts compete in inter-club Invitational competitions, Victorian Championships, Club Championships and National Clubs.
- Level 7-10 gymnasts compete in Invitational competitions, Victorian Championships, Club Championships and National Clubs and are eligible for selection for the Victorian Team to compete at the National Championships.
