The Level 9 Division 1 WAG gymnasts attended Trial 1 which was held at Waverley Gymnastics Centre on Saturday 14th March.

With a solid week of training from their last competition to this one, the girls pushed themselves on each and every routine.  Emily’s Floor routine was amazing and earned her a 3rd place on this apparatus.  On Beam she once again landed her back handspring and she hit her handstand half turn on Bars for the first time.

Jess’s Beam was solid and her Floor routine was perfor...

What a full on weekend (March 7th & 8th) it was for our Level 7-9 coach BJ who attended three sessions of competitions over the two days with our Senior Girls at the Jet’s “Learn to Fly” Invitational.

On Saturday afternoon the Level 9 Division 1 girls strutted their stuff at the competition.  Veda back from an ankle injury was able to compete on Bars, Beam and Floor and showed us that keeping up your training even whilst injury pays off.  Emily’s Floor routine was her best so far this year and all her ha...

The WAG Level 7-9 girls attend their first competition of the year and it has come up so quickly.  We went into this competition to have some fun and to see where we were at in regards to our performances.   It was a fantastic but small competition with no major upsets.

The girls got some amazing height with their jumps and leaps on Beam and Floor.  It was good to get some great feedback from the judges and have taken this in consideration with their training and preparation for their nex...

The gym was set up with floor and equipment dismantled on Saturday afternoon after training with the help of coaches and parents (thanks to all those who helped).

During the first week of school holidays in September 2019 PIT participated in the National Clubs Carnival held up on the Gold Coast. It was a great week away from the stagnant Melbourne weather and a great experience for the gymnasts and their families to travel interstate for competition.

The week itself was action packed with PIT teams busy competing at the venue or busy riding the roller coasters at the theme parks. A personal highlight for the trip for me (aside from the gymnastics of course!) was h...
